Yeasol Kang received a bachelor's degree in violin performance (BM) and music education (BMEd) from the University of Georgia where she studied with Levon Ambartsumian and Shakhida Azimkhodjaeva. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree (DMA) in violin performance from the University of Georgia along with her studies in viola performance (Masters Degree) with Maggie Snyder.
Ms. Kang’s orchestral experience includes UGA Symphony Orchestra where she served as second violin principal and ARCO Chamber Orchestra, playing violin and viola. She has participated in numerous recording projects and premiere. Her recent appearance was at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival at Charleston, South Carolina, performing a new arrangements of the 12&13 Century French and Italian medieval music.
Ms. Kang has taught music lessons privately in Atlanta area since 2009, teaching students in all ages. Her students join youth symphony orchestras including Kendall Orchestra, GCYS and All-State Orchestra.
