Pedro Miszewski, brazilian, graduated from Santa Catarina State University (Brazil) for his bachelor's, and University of Georgia for his master and doctoral degrees. João Eduardo Titton (BR), Paulo Bosísio (BR), and Levon Ambartsumian (US/RUS) were his main instructors. Pedro worked as concertmaster in the Santa Catarina State Orchestra (Brazil) between the years of 2005 and 2010 and as principal second violin in Camerata Florianópolis Orchestra (Brazil) until 2012.
He also played in the Santa Catarina String Quintet (BR) for a few years, and recorded CDs, and several other audio projects with the group, as the CD Quinteto de Cordas Catarinense interpreta Piazzolla. As soloist, Pedro has played with chamber groups and Symphony Orchestras featuring pieces and concertos from Vivaldi, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saens, and Beethoven.
He is also a two time prize winner on the Concurso Nacional de Cordas Paulo Bosísio (2007 and 2011), one of the most important violin competitions in Brazil.
