Atlanta Music Academy is strongly commited in helping students, of all ages, realize their capabilities by cultivating music understanding and creativity.
Founded in 1982, the dedicated faculty is proud to have placed students in top rankings in band and orchestra competitions over the years: Allstate, Band Programs, Bach Piano Competitions, GHP Programs, and GMTA auditions.Faculty members are highly trained professionals with Bachelor degrees in his/her teaching field. Many have also earned PHD degrees.
AMA strives to provide the best possible music education for all, with a basis of fundamental techniques and theories. The fully credentialed staff are sensitive to the indvidual student's musical abilities and needs. Students are comfortable learning, in its friendly and inviting environment. In addition to band and orchestra lessons, materials and instruments can be purchased or rented at the site.
A wide variety of performance and musical experiences for participation with others are also made available to its students. Appreciating and encouraging a love of music is what binds and sustains everyone at AMA.
