Arlene Chung - Violin
Born in South Korea, she began to study the violin at the age of six. In 1998, she won the Jeonbuk Providence Young Artist Award. Ms. Arlene soon moved to United States, and continued to study violin with Dr. Joy Brown Wiener, the former
concertmaster of the Memphis Symphony. In Memphis, TN, she won many awards such as Beethoven Club Young Artist Award, Florence Orchestra Young Artist Competition, and summer festival Scholarship awards. In 2003, she went to Interlochen Arts Academy and studied violin with Hal Grossman. Upon her graduation, she received the violin award. Recently, Ms. Arlene graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music receiving the Bachelors in violin performance under the guidance of David Updegraff.
