Haeyoung Kim

Piano

Haeyoung Kim is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and is currently a director on the board of the Atlanta Music Teachers Association. She is currently serving as a co-chair of Atlanta Piano Festival. She was recently invited as a judge for SYAPC Festival.

Haeyoung Kim received a Master of Music Degree in piano performance at the University of Florida under Professor Boaz Sharon. While pursuing her music degree in performance, she received a graduate teaching assistantship at University of Florida and taught piano skills classes. She obtained a Friends of Music Summer Scholarship from UF for Prague International Piano Master Classes. She also participated in the University of Florida Steinway Piano Festival.

Haeyoung Kim has been an accompanist on numerous occasions for recitals and competitions for voice or musical instruments. She has been a church pianist for years. She specializes in playing Contemporary Christian Music. Her interests include singing, composing, and arranging music. She has also been playing the violin for several years as a hobby. She currently teaches at Atlanta Music Academy.
