Anthony Lowe is a graduate of music performance with a concentration in tuba from Columbus State University where he studied under Dr. Alex Avila. During his time in school, he participated in many enriching teaching and performing experiences. 

While a student at CSU, under the tutelage of Dr. Avila, Anthony was a part of a successful student brass quintet, the school’s wind ensemble and philharmonic. In addition to his ensemble experience, he’s been invited to audition for opportunities such as The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Curtis institute of music. 

Now that he’s graduated from Columbus State with his degree, Mr. Lowe plans to take time to hone his craft and gain some experience freelancing in the Atlanta area while also teaching. Anthony then plans to return to academia to get his Masters and Doctorate in performance with a minor in psychology.
